Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology is the largest community college in eastern Ontario.
Algonquin assists students in acquiring the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the global marketplace. With input from the local community and industry partners, Algonquin faculty delivers innovative programs using a variety of teaching methods and approaches. Students may participate in group projects, laboratory experiments and case studies.
Algonquin College has campuses in Ottawa, Pembroke, and Perth, Ontario.
Algonquin College - Pembroke is known as Algonquin College in the Ottawa Valley, and offers programs like Outdoor Adventure, which challenges students in practical disciplines such as rock climbing and white water rafting, and the business training to make it all marketable. The campus is also home to the Outdoor Adventure Naturalist and Forestry Technician Programs. There are also programs such as Social Service Worker, Motive Power Technician, Police Foundations, and the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree program in collaboration with the University of Ottawa.
